Four Utah Visitors

This posting is for Jon Phillips:

Last week, I had 4 visitors from Utah come to visit. It was a bit hectic, but I enjoyed the company. Jessica came for the weekend and we did the 'DC tour on crack'. Basically, we skimmed through museums and the monuments without reading anything!
My sister and two friends came the day after Jessica left and stayed for a week. For a few days, we went to NYC with my oldest sister that lives back here. We got lost in Chinatown, went to the top of the Empire State Bldg, ran around Times Square, witnessed a wedding at St. Patrick's Cathedral, watched ice skaters at the Rockefeller Center and then we headed to Broadway to watch Wicked. As for D.C., they had tours of the White House and the U.S. Capitol and then we went to the Holocaust museum, Mt. Vernon (with my nephews), watched the George Washington Parade and enjoyed many different kinds of food. My favorite was the Ethiopian restaurant that we found in NYC. They brought all of our food on one plate with some floamy tortillas. There were no utensils and it messy! Needless to say, I was exhausted but it was fun to be a tourist!
