Today I was browsing on the internet and I found a website that I want to remember, so I'm putting it on my blog. (sorry to bore anyone that actually reads my blog!) Growing up, whoever had a birthday would eat off of the 'You are special today' plate. It's an endearing tradition at the Perkins residence. Someday, I plan to purchase one.

Oh, you can bet the Rileys will be using a "special plate." I was thrilled when we got one for our wedding.
Noah beat me to it! I was going to tell you you'd probably get a wedding gift "You Are Special" plate. I don't think I've talked to a single couple who didn't get one. Isn't that weird? Who knows to give these?
But my family had one growing up, Noah's family had one... I think it's just a necessity.
i finally figured out how the crap to post on your blog. :) hey, i feel left out. i didn't get one of those plates for my wedding. in fact, to be honest, i've never heard of these plates but it sure sounds like a cute tradition.
