I remember the first week at my job in Washington DC:
I'm pretty sure I cried a lot because I was either:
A. nervous
B. sad or
C. scared of Rebecca!! ;)
It's silly looking back, but Rebecca and I didn't understand each other at first.
We're both stubborn, persistent, assertive, outspoken, etc.
We definitely clashed....
(later I found out we share a birthday. That explained a lot!)
She's from Cape Cod & I had never dealt with MASS-holes before!
hehe. just teasing!
In all seriousness, Rebecca started off as my coworker/manager.
But within a few months, she became a great friend.
She's loyal, fun to hang with, easy to talk to & she keeps me in line.
i.e. If I say something stupid, she calls me out on it & I need that!
She understands the principles I strive to live because
of my faith and always encourages me to be true to them.
I ran into a lot of people in DC that questioned my beliefs and why I follow them.
It felt like an interrogation sometimes.
But Rebecca never did that.
She asked questions because she wanted to understand.
still encourages me to move back to DC and work for her.
It's a tempting thought most days.
Anyway, Rebecca is an important part of my life.
I love her insight, her straight-forward approach to everything and her sense of humor.
I love you Rebuki and this post is proof.
I want you to know I'm waiting patiently for you to get married because...
I'm itching to visit Cape Cod!! ;)
It was so great to visit and catch up last week.
Thanks for being a loyal blog reader!

Oh and P.S to my sis-in-law Jen.
Your unknown blog follower in DC is Rebecca.
I talked about my cute nieces, so now she reads your blog.
As for your int'l blog followers, I can't help you there.
