Good and Bad News

Bad News: Next month, I won't have a job.
Good News: Next month, I won't have a job...so I'm taking the vacation of a lifetime:

I'm flying to Singapore with some friends...

..then we'll take a quick detour to the Angkor Wat Ruins in Cambodia...

....and then to Malaysia... (brownie points if you know the name of this building)

...and then we'll be snorkeling and chilling on the beaches in Phuket and Phi Phi, Thailand...

...then we'll ride elephants in the jungles of Chiang Mai, Thailand...

..and last, we'll kick it in Bangkok, Thailand with our group.

Next,  Tanier and I will fly to Hong Kong to shop 'til we drop...

..then we'll take a river tour of Guilin, China...

...then we'll fly (or train..eek) to Shanghai to chill with Taylor, Jenn and Baby Will...

..then we'll check out the terra cotta soldiers in Xi'an, China...

..and we'll end our travels at the Great Wall of China....

...and the Forbidden City in Beijing, China before flying home to the good ole USofA!

Hopefully, it all goes off without a hitch...but that's probably wishful thinking.  I'm sure we'll get lost 100x and since our chinese sucks (no offense Tan)...we'll likely find ourselves up a creek without a paddle!
This month is going to be Cra-Zy as I finish teaching (grades, finals, progress reports..yuck!), prepare for the teachers next semester (lesson plans, making notes, organizing), train and run a 1/2 marathon, visit Taroko Gorge, squeeze in a weekend trip to the LDS Taipei Taiwan Temple, attempt to celebrate Christmas...hohoho, visit friends in Puli Taiwan, pack up all my crap, finalize our 5 week travel plans and last but not least: SPAM my resume throughout the SLC Valley.  Has Obama 'fixed' the economy yet?  Alright, I need to go offline and buckle down!
