Reverently. Quietly.

Let me start off by admitting that I'm shy at church.
I'm a 43rd ward loner...srsly.
However, Sunday I ended up sitting by some new faces.
Both were male AND USU alum...what more could THIS girl ask for?
After the sacrament was passed, the two guys started chatting.
I leaned over, flirtaciously batted my eyes & said, 'do I need to sit between you two?'
One thing led to another...and I started folding this 'quiet game' to keep my new church friends reverent.
I started writing fun finds on the inside, like 'make tabbi cookies'...realized that was lame.
So I turned on my dumb-boy-humor and filled out the rest.
Guy #1 picked 'pull the fire alarm'
we all chuckled...(inside joke too long to tell now)
Then Guy #2 picked 'give dave(guy in front of us)a wet willy'
And here's where the quiet game escalated out of control.
we all laughed quietly as he stuck his finger in his mouth...
...there's no way he would follow through?
He waited a few seconds, looked us both in the eyes,
then went for the gold...
...right as Dave went to scratch his ear.
This entangled their arms into a vicious wet willy mess.
Hard as we tried to keep silent, we were rolling...
Guy #1 fell over, Guy #2 turned red from the pressure of the muted laugh & my eyes filled with tears.
The look on Dave's face was priceless. Pure shock.
Reverence never was my strong suit.

Not sure we're a good combo, but I'm hoping they'll save me a seat next week.

Maybe I'll come prepared with cheerios & a flannel board story...just in case.
